The TMF framework has 3 divisions such as a generic TableModel which manages any type of data, an external XML file that allows for the configuration of the table parts and a bridge between the model and the view. The TMF framework permits for more configurable JTables by moving all of table-specific data outside of the compiled code and into a configurable XML file.
