     The snmp collector is a PHP based script which is capable of collecting in and out octects of a switch interface counter into a database. The script requires MySQL database with two tables. The first table is called interfaces which holds information regarding IP, SNMPRead and Port. The second table ifdata keeps the results with default interval of 300 seconds. This script can run on both Linux and Windows. To use it on Linux, you can call it through Cron; for working with Windows, you should use a software called Firedaemon.
