     Cayenne is a database tool that can pool resources from multiple databases. It offers control over persistent Java objects mapped to relational databases. It features single method call queries and updates including atomic updates of all modified objects and seamless integration into one virtual data source of multiple databases. Supports reverse-engineering of RDBMS schema, and also generates Java source code for the persistent objects.
