     This article tells you what are exceptional events and how to diagnose and overcome them. Exceptional events can take you by surprise and can happen anywhere in a JSP page. Between a try..catch block, put the code which can throw an exception to detect it or you can transfer the control to an error page by specify an error page in the ‘page’ directive.
