NexIRC comes with an audio alarm which will play an MP3 file at a specified time, Support for color codes on IRC, NexIRC comes with an Identd server which will identify you on IRC, NexIRC has fully robust Options with which you can customize the server/network choices, user information/ident information, on startup options, show in channel options, messaging options, prompts, browser options, message of the day options, spectrum theme options, audio options, initial audio levels, notify list and settings, Theme settings, Custom Text Strings, Ignore List and options, also Bots, Commands and autopreform lists.
