Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting to unlock Steve as a playable character and the Bermuda Triangle level.
Cheat mode
At the main menu, choose the "Options" selection, then hold R and quickly press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, X, B, X, B at the options menu. If you entered the code correctly, the "Cheat Name" screen will appear. Enter one of the following case-sensitive codes, then exit back to the options screen to activate the corresponding cheat function:
All courses
Enter "Passport" as a case-sensitive code. Note: This also unlocks Steve and the Bermuda Triangle.
All characters
Enter "AllChar" as a case-sensitive code.
All wetsuits
Enter "LaPinata" as a case-sensitive code.
Cannot get knocked off
Enter "TopBird" as a case-sensitive code. The CPU can no longer knock you off your SeaDoo, but you can still knock them off.
Maximum performance meter
Enter "PMeterGo" as a case-sensitive code. Note: If you miss a buoy you will stall with this code on.
Hard tracks with normal AI settings
Enter "Hobble" as a case-sensitive code.
Expert AI
Enter "AllOutAI" as a case-sensitive code. The AI will run the best race possible. Note: This is already active by default on the hard difficulty setting.
All ending FMV sequences
Enter "Festival" as a case-sensitive code.
Play Time Trials against a UFO
Enter "IBelieve" as a case-sensitive code.
Play Time Trials against a miniature F-18 jet
Enter "F18" as a case-sensitive code.
Play Time Trials against ghost of currently selected player
Enter "SEADOO" as a case-sensitive code. Note: This is the default in the game.
Easy performance meter gain
For an easy performance meter gain, pick up speed in an open area. Then, slam the [Left Analog-stick Up] hard to duck under. Then slam the [Left Analog-stick Down] and hold it to perform an invert.
Hold tricks longer
Before going off of a ramp on your SEADOO, hold the shoulder button(s) that are required to do that trick. Just when you get it the air, then press the D-Pad to do your trick. Note: You do not need to hold the D-Pad, but you do need to hold the shoulder button(s) to hold your trick. If you want to go farther in the air, hold [Down] on a straight-away. This pulls your SEADOO's nose out of the water, making it go faster. However, your steering is highly diminished.
