How the Gold Card system works:
For each of the first or third stages of a level, there are three cards that can be found by blowing up boxes. Before you begin a level, or when it is paused, there is a display of how many gold cards you have found or have yet to find. In the display, the cards you get by blowing up boxes will fill up the first three spaces. The next space is for the enemy card, which can be gotten on the 30th enemy killed in any stage. The last card is the time card. You will recieve it automatically if you beat the stage within the target time.
