Easy way 2 defeat doc ock
Everybody things the easy way 2 defeat doc ock is by dodging then webbing.. NO there's an easyer why fellow peeps. make sure you have brought the the upgrade to kick people while swining at the store before you try to defeat doc ock (you can start chapter again if you have saved at the fight)get doc ock into one of the side rooms (not in the center of the factory.) get him in the middle of the room and swing from side to side while kicking him. you can defeat him without losing even a lil health.

Freak Mode
THIS CHEAT IS AWESOME. Ok in the second chapter you have to meet Mary-Jane. Once the scene ends start webbing yourself right to the "shop" where you buy all your Upgrades. Mary-Jane will be there and she'll say PETE! How'd you find me? And then spiderman says Because i have a radar installed in my head. Ok ok i confess Batman gave me a lift. So.... and then Mary-Jane's vill say o my. A radar? and then suddenly we will hear someone who didn't use the washroom at the right time. Mary-Jane vill say O my. and then Spidey will say oops....better out than in. And then Spidey will die because there's just too much gas in his spidey Outfit. First he starts floating and goes all the way to Las Vages. Then the X-men think he's ugly and they kill him because he's destroying the atmosphere with his disgusting gas. Yes i kn ow THIS CHEAT IS AWESOME.

Somewhat god mode
Type TREYARCH backwards.(HCRAYERT)NOTE:I tried
this code but I got bored quickly.The code gives 40% game completion,you start on level 16, and you get 20,000 hero points.But no Doc Ock fight.The code can be typed in up to 3 times.Where do you type it in? Well, where you put your name.To make sure of correct code entry the code should delete its self ,but it still works.The downsides of this cheat are:super boredom and you must collect 40,000 or more( I forget)points to go to level 17.Is it cool......................NO!

Last Speed Upgrade
To get the 8th speed upgrade you must get up to the 16th chapter and defeat it. When the new chapter starts get 50,000 hero points and go to the shop. Swing upgrade 8 should be there unless you haven't upgraded it before.

Liberty Island
I bet a lot of you wonder how to get to the Statue of Liberty. All you have to do is hitch a ride on a helicopter. If you land in the water close enough to Ellis Island you climb out of the water onto it. Note: If you want to check to make sure you got it, move the right analog stick so that you are looking straight up.

Evidence of Vulture Fight
Go to the Chrysler building (the other huge sky scraper near the empire state building), up far enough to where there are green pyramids on 4 corners of the building, and go around the building. You should find green feathers on the building, referring to the first game when you fought Vulture there.

Instantly kill enimies
To instantly kill enimies you must have the grapple upgrade and you must be nere water.fist presse (triangle+circle) then he will be in your hands then go close to the water and press circle they will go flying in the water and die instantly

Tip: Easy and Fun thug kills
When facing/fighting any kind of thugs, try to use the grapple attack (triangle+Cicle). If the enemy dodges it and gives you a hard time, press L2+triangle to shoot a web that will temporarily paralyze him/her, then do the grapple thingy. (you have to buy the grapple attack first). When u have 'em try to go on top of buildings then press O, to throw 'em, or triangle near the edge to do the web hammer attack then let 'em drop of the building(unconcious or awake, your choice). Also, try the air pile driver ,once you buy it, on 'em too. these 'drops' are an instant kill if you drop the enemy high enough.

p.s. if you use the grapple attack try to press triangle 2-6 times. its cool.

Tip: Robot Enemies
If you're having difficulty trying to defeat 2-3 enemy robots, try this:

1) Use the 'Lock-on Camera' (press down on your D-pad) to target 1 of the enemies, but DO NOT attack him.

2) Run around to set that particular robot in the line of fire of the other ones. You'll notice that the robot is going to get hit by his own friends, but DON'T stay in the same location for long because the targeted enemy could still fire at you, so run around then go back to that location so he could get hit by his friends again. Do this until 1 robot is left.

3) Its easy to kill 1 robot, it only takes common sense. Just go behind him, then attack him. Don't let him turn around to face you, when he does, you'll just have to walk up to his back again. Try to attack him when you're using 'Spider Reflexes' that way you'll give off more damage.

Always remember don't attack 2 or 3 enemy robots head on because you are more likely to get hit by the missiles, and don't try to dodge the missiles for a long time because 1 of the missiles could land beside you and you'll get hit by the area effect damage by the missiles.

This is my way of killing the robots. If you know an EASIER way, then by all means do it.

Tip: Web Rodeo
Incase you're having trouble with the web rodeo trick/attack, here's the 411. You first web tie the enemy, (up to 4 enemies to be exact, it doesn't matter how many enemies you web tie) then you spin the left analog stick as fast as you can. (clockwise or counter-clockwise, your choice. If the first direction of spin doesn't work, try the other one.) This attack is good when you're surrounded. It temporarily clears your position, but after that brief moment when your enemies are knocked away, they could get back on their feet and easily attack you again, if you're not carefull.

P.S. try to web rodeo your enemies off buildings because sometimes that's an instant kill. Also, try to web rodeo your enemies into the water. Now that is a 100% instant kill.

When starting a new game, enter HCRAYERT as a name ("Treyarch" spelled backwards), then go back and enter any name of your choice. The game will start in progress, with over 40% completion, 201,000 Hero points, with Swing Speed and Web Zip upgrades, and "Big Game Hunter", "Alien Buster", "Shock Absorber", and "Tentacle Wrangler" ranks.

Beat Rhino:
When Rhino tries to hit you, there will be a flash above Spider-Man's head. Press Circle when this happens. When Rhino stops spinning, he will be dizzy. Punch him until he recovers, then he will charge at you. Jump over him. Do not punch or web him. If you web him you will get hurt. If you punch him it will not have any affect
because there is metal around his body.

Unlock Alex Ross white costume
Complete the game on the Kid mode to unlock the Alex Ross white costume.

Skip training
Complete the training by entering "CEREBRA" in the cheats menu.

Complete Story Mode :
The code is Treyarch backwards which is HCRAYERT. It gets your 40% ahead, starts you off with 200,000 hero points and also a few upgrades.

Theatre and Fight Arena :
To Unlock the Spider-Man 2 Theatre, and the Spider-Man 2 Fight Arena, simply complete all the missions in Chapters 1-15. In Chapter Sixteen you'll have free-roam with one mission: Get 50,000 more hero points. Go to a store with 6,000 hero points or more Now, scroll around for an icon of a camera. It costs 1,000 Hero Points. This is the theatre. You'll be able to watch the Credits, Treyarch intro, and Activision intro. There's a spider man posing icon next to it. It is labeled Fight Arena. Buy it for 5,000 hero points. The warehouse where you FIRST battled
shocker is where this arena is. You fight a wave of criminals in separate rounds

Beat Doc Ock:
When you fight Doc Oc for the last time, save up your Spidey Sense energy. When it gets too full or half-way, let him get close and active it. This will help you defeat him without losing health. Note: If you can get good hits on him when three of his four arms are down, you will take little damage if you are careful.

When facing Doc Ock in the final battle, stand your ground in a corner and let him approach you. When he arrives, beware of his tentacles. Dodge them one by one pressing Circle when Spider- Man's head flashes, then respond to each dodge by pressing Triangle and shooting a web at the Doc's tentacles to bind them to the wall or the ground. When all four tentacles are bound to either the ground or the wall, run towards the Doc by holding L1 then pressing Square, performing an uppercut which sends the Doc in the air. Then, hold and release X and continue to press Square rapidly. When the Doc falls to the ground, continue to perform combos to him by pressing Square, but beware of his tentacles. Doc Ock will use them to throw you repeatedly. Web out of there after one combo and move to
another corner and repeat the process until the Doc is defeated.

Beat Mysterio:
When you are fighting Mysterio at the Speedy Mart, the battle is very short. Just punch him a few times to defeat him and prepare yourself to reveal Mysterio's true identity.

Beat Shocker:
To defeat Shocker the second time that you fight him, climb up the wall directly across from Black Cat and press the switch. The force field will deactivate. Then, charge towards Shocker. Stay away from the middle, as Shocker will stay on the sides. Uppercut him into the air. Jump up and do an air combo. He will fall down. Charge him again and do the same thing. This time he will start to charge for a blast. Run away and do charged jump as far from him as possible. The force field will turn on again. Repeat the strategy from beginning. When Shocker loses about half of his life, Black Cat will shut down the force field for good.

Beat Bosses:
When facing the Rhino or other Bosses, press Up to make everything slow down except yourself. This move also allows you to punch and hit much more effectively.

Beat enemies:
To defeat enemies that block your attacks, have guns, or dodge your web, use the Web Splash maneuver (L2 + Triangle). This will quickly cover them up with webbing and will make them easier to defeat.

Following Black Cat:
In the missions where you have to follow Black Cat, try not to swing from building to building because you will not be very accurate and fall too far behind. Instead, try flinging yourself from building to building. To do this, hold the X (Jump) and when it is fully charged, also hold L2 (Turbo). Then, still holding L2 + X, run to the edge of the building and release X, but continue to hold L2. This will fling Spider-
Man farther than just jumping, and is much more accurate than swinging. Also, if you are just about to land on a building, but are slightly short of making it to the top, try using the zip line (L2, R2) when you can still see the top of the building. Note: You must buy the zip line first. It should attach to the top and zip you over.
