Get new bikes and levels
To get new levels and bikes you have to beat meets.

Boost start
To do a boost-start you just hold Gas and Skid from where it shows the racers to
when it says "1" in the count-down.Then let go of X (but continue holding A)and
your bike will boost forwards.

Tricks
Wheelie: Hold the Left Analog-stick Back.
Standing Wheelie: Press Trick + Left Analog-stick Back.
Surfing Wheelie: Press Trick + Kick/Punch + Left Analog-stick Back.
Cross Surfing Wheelie: Press Trick + Left Analog-stick Back + Front Brake + Kick/Punch.
Endo: Press Left Analog-stick Forward + Front Brake.
Surfing Powerdown: Press Trick + Left Analog-stick Forward + Power Down. Handstand Powerdown: Press Trick + Skid + Left Analog-stick Forward + Power Down.
Surfing: Press Trick + Left Analog-stick Forward, then Left Analog-stick Back. Handstand: Press Trick + Left Analog-stick Forward, then Kick/Punch Pavement Ride: Trick + Left Analog-stick Forward, then Skid.
Donut: Hold Brake + Gas and turn in one direction with the Left Analog-stick.

Back and frontflip:
Get a powerdown and boost it about 350 feet before a ramp. When you are in mid-air, hold Up or Down to perform a backflip or a frontflip. Note: You need a lot of speed and a very fast bike.

Tricks in mid-air:
When you approach a ramp, get enough speed up and once you have jumped off it, hold Triangle for a Powerdow. You can actually pull it off in midair and land it by releasing Triangle before you land. You can also do this with a Surfing Powerdown, but you have to release the trick button and Triangle to land it properly, or you will crash. You can also Powerdown onto a ramp and do a rotation trick on it. Note: You do not get any extra points for doing a trick in midair, just for the jump distance.

Dodge cars while turning:
While turning, press R1. Wait until you are in front of a car and point the Left Analog-stick the opposite way that you are turning. You will keep turning, but at a slower rate. Note: Do not release R1 until you dodge the car(s).

Caught on camera speed:
On every level, there are cameras which will photograph your speed when you pass them. Sometimes you need a certain speed to obtain "Respect". To do this easily, obtain a "Powerband". Press R2 approximately 350 feet from the camera to Powerband past it with speeds in excess of 250 mph.
